Welcome to the Gitemi Homepage
Our hope is that you will enjoy some of the treasures of the Temi language and culture. Like a kibɔndɔ, a large leather bag in which the millet harvest is kept, this website is designed as a storage site for writings and music in Gitemi. You will find oral histories, myths, Biblical books, several albums of songs, and soon there will also be a Gitemi dictionary with definitions in Swahili and English.
